I was reading Matthew 24 and 25 the other day, what Jesus said about His
second coming and all the following things came to me. So take it for
what is worth it. (Scriptures from Old King James Bible – use your own Bible if
you wish)
Matthew 24:8-14. All these are the beginning of
sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be
afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my
name's sake. And then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many
shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto
the end, the same shall be saved. And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.
All these things are the beginning of sorrows. There shall be
persecutions, we shall be hated by all nations for Jesus name sake, hated even
by our own children and brothers and parents. Many will be offended with this
and that, people shall hate one another, amongst the believers and sincere
followers of Jesus. Then these smart "prophets" will arise with all
kinds of beautiful promises and "don't worries" and blah, blah, and
will deceive believers, and the iniquity will abound so much that it will be
hard to keep love alive. That's why the importance of calling on the keys of
love for one another. But he/she that endures and keeps the faith and the
obedience to love another and what needs to be done until THE END shall be
SAVED. Saved from what? And what is THE END?
The end is the beginning of the Tribulation, when things
really get crazy, the 4 winds start blowing upon the earth and the servants of
God have His seal upon their foreheads. (Rev 7:2-3 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the
seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to
whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth,
neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in
their foreheads).
The end is the midnight cry of Mattews 25:6 and the virgins -
the believers - both wise and foolish will wake up. (Mat 25:5-6. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out
to meet him.) Some were wise and had oil and
others were foolish and didn't have it.
The end is the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel
the prophet. (Dan 11:31, Dan 12:11, Mat 24:15, Mar 13:14)
The end is referred to in: (Mat 24:14 And this gospel
of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.) (John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night
cometh, when no man can work.)
When that day comes it will be very clear to ALL. There will be outer
darkness outside, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, there will be
great tribulation such as never was and never will be again.
But, for the ones that kept the faith until "the end", there
will be some kind of protection, things will be very clear, they will walk in
the light, and it will be the beginning of Tribulation. (Isa 60:2. For, behold,
the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD
shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.)
If there is one thing I ask the Lord, for me and my beloved ones, is
that we will always keep the faith, and keep being faithful no matter what,
because it will be worth it. And to put myself in the position of being
available to bring into the Kingdom everyone that are supposed to be saved
before these things happen. And they are out there and we will find them.
In the promises given to the church of Philadelphia we read: (Rev 3:10. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will
keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to
try them that dwell upon the earth. )
So, the Tribulation is that hour of temptation upon all the world and
some will be kept from that hour of temptation. It's not the rapture yet,
because the "elect" will be here praying and seeing all these
horrible things happening and that's why Jesus will shorten those days
(Mat.24:22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no
flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.)
They will be carried to the wilderness, whatever that is: (Rev 12:6 The
woman fled unto the wilderness where she has a place prepared of God).
Are you prepared for the End?
PS The Coming of Jesus, after the Tribulation, is another study in
itself, the happy ending with much, much brighter perspectives for all, except
for the very incorrigibles and wicked. Keep in touch.
